‘Colour Worms’ nominated for book award

Growing Faith's first ever children's book shortlisted for Christian Book of the Year.

Growing Faith is very pleased to announce that Colour Worms has been shortlisted for the 2012 Australian Christian Book of the Year Award.

Not only is Colour Worms the first children’s book Growing Faith has released, it’s also the first work of Shan Joseph’s, who has since written and illustrated Colours Worms 123 and Colour Worms ABC. He’s a very talented guy, that’s for sure!

About the Christian Book of the Year Award

The Australian Christian Book of the Year Award is given annually to a book written by an Australian author and published by an Australian publisher. The Award carries a prize of $2500. Entries are judged with an eye to the original nature of the work, and the contribution the book makes in meeting a need for Christian writing in Australia. The awards are an initiative of The Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge Australia and the Australian Christian Literature Society. You can read more about the awards by clicking here.
