About us

Growing Faith, an initiative of Youthworks Media, aims to equip Christian parents with resources to lead their families wisely through the often complex issues that daily life brings their way. We focus on a combination of spiritual and practical areas of family life, from early childhood parenting and teenage damage control, to marriage recovery and spiritual growth in parents.
Our goal is to create an online community of dialogue and information sharing, shaped by a biblical world view. Christian parenting can at times be provocative and divisive. This is to be expected, since we all feel very passionately about our children. At the least, we encourage all readers to be humble and open-minded, carefully considering alternative perspectives, whilst challenging our own practices and presuppositions. Ultimately, we get one crack at being a parent and Growing Faith is committed to helping parents raise their children in the best way possible.

Our authors

Many of the authors are experts in their respective fields be it theology, psychology, childcare, or pedagogy. We also love drawing on the experience of real Christian parents, who share their day-to-day experiences and practical solutions to a myriad of challenges. Many of the articles will contain subjective opinions, and will be nuanced differently to others. We don’t purport to be parenting gurus, but our contributors are reputable and responsible authors, so over time you will see a consistent ‘shape’ to the information provided. The one common theme we work hard at ensuring is a careful evangelical treatment of Bible-based matters. We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and should be wielded with honour and integrity.

Also, since we are a Bible-based organisation, all our articles are theologically reviewed. Much of our material may be reviewed by professional practitioners as well, depending on the degree of instruction or authority the authors give.

Our readers and members

Growing Faith is not designed for any single denomination or demography. Some members are Sydney Anglicans, others are American Baptists. We have members from the UK, New Zealand, Asia and Africa.
